Rediscovering Life’s Essence
Langshi (ISLE Maison) represents a delicate balance between the vitality of the city and the serenity of nature. Designed along a southern municipal road in Suzhou, the project reimagines urban living with green spaces that seamlessly connect community and city. By layering lush greenery, thoughtful spatial arrangements, and cultural nods, the design invites residents to experience a harmonious retreat within the city.
A Sanctuary of Green
Langshi’s architectural layout retreats 30 metres from the street, creating an expansive entryway softened by a continuous green belt. The vehicle and pedestrian pathways are intentionally misaligned, preserving existing camphor-lined routes while offering privacy to the drop-off area. Framed by light-toned boundary walls, this space is enveloped by tall tallow trees and minimalist greenery, creating a secluded oasis.
Pocket parks and raised green islands enrich the streetscape, blending seamlessly with the broader urban green belt. These elevated natural features evoke a sense of tranquillity, guiding visitors through serene, tree-lined pathways and offering a momentary escape from the city’s bustling pace.
Cultural Echoes in Design
Drawing inspiration from Suzhou’s poetic water towns, the design weaves elements of local culture into modern geometry. Narrow corridors and serene water features subtly reference Jiangnan’s ancient waterways and shadowed alleys, creating a refined yet approachable aesthetic.
Decorative rain canopies and dark-toned walls with ornamental accents bring understated elegance to the entryway, while the project’s clean, linear geometry ensures a sense of order and calm. Together, these elements reflect Suzhou’s timeless grace, offering a contemporary retreat steeped in cultural heritage.
A Return to Quiet Luxury
Langshi is an exploration of JTL’s philosophy of simplicity, seamlessly merging Suzhou’s historical sophistication with modern urban vibrancy. It creates a serene, private retreat where residents can rediscover the essence of life—a balance of natural beauty, cultural reflection, and quiet luxury.
苏州朗拾（ISLE Maison）代表着城市活力与自然宁静之间的微妙平衡。该项目位于苏州南部市政道路沿线，通过绿色空间重新构想城市生活，无缝连接社区和城市。通过层层铺满郁郁葱葱的绿植、周到的空间安排和文化认同，该设计邀请居民体验城市中的和谐休憩。
绿色圣地
朗拾的建筑布局距离街道 30 米，创造了一个宽阔的入口，由一条连续的绿化带软化。车辆和人行道故意错位，保留了现有的樟树成荫的路线，同时为落客区提供了隐私。这个空间被浅色的边界墙包围，被高大的乌桕树和简约的绿色植物包围，创造了一个僻静的绿洲。
袖珍公园和凸起的绿岛丰富了街景，与更广阔的城市绿化带无缝融合。这些高耸的自然景观唤起了一种宁静的感觉，引导游客穿过宁静的林荫小道，让游客暂时逃离城市的喧嚣。
设计中的文化回响
从苏州诗意的水乡中汲取灵感，设计将当地文化元素融入现代几何图形中。狭窄的走廊和宁静的水景巧妙地参考了江南古老的水道和幽静的小巷，创造了一种精致而平易近人的美感。
装饰性雨篷和带有装饰点缀的深色墙壁为入口带来了低调的优雅，而该项目干净的线性几何图形则确保了秩序感和平静感。这些元素共同反映了苏州永恒的优雅，提供了一个充满文化底蕴的现代休闲场所。
回归宁静的奢华
苏州朗拾是对JTL 简约哲学的探索，将苏州的历史精致与现代城市活力无缝融合。它创造了一个宁静、私密的休憩场所，居民可以在这里重新发现生活的真谛——自然美景、文化反思和静谧奢华之间的平衡。
